The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and sixth largest by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the Burj Khalifa complex, the 20-billion-dollar project has 1,200 shops. Access to the mall is provided via Doha Street.



The Dubai Mall post its inaugural in November 4, 2008, has changed the face of retail by revolutionizing the modern shopping experience. Its not only the largest in gross leasable space, it has surpassed many world-famous malls.



Almost every international brand is present here, a few being Cole Haan, Sacoor Brothers, Manolo Blahnik, Karen Millen, Just Cavalli, Diesel, Tru Trussardi, CK, Coach and Burberry. Children’s clothing stores includes Salam Kido and Osh Kosh B'Gosh, and a number of jewellery and watch retailers such as Rivoli, Tiffany, Carl F Bucherer and Richard Mille. Also many flagship stores like Nivea Haus and  Kinokuniya have marked their debut in the Middle East thanks to the Dubai Mall.

  • Dubai Fountain



  • Set on the 30-acre Burj Khalifa Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.



    Shows are every 30 minutes with the first two shows at 1pm and 1:30pm daily and thereafter from 6pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 6pm to 11pm on weekends.

  • Kidzania is a unique Family Edutainment centre for kids a Mexican concept where kids aged between 2 to 14 are treated like adults and are hence brought up to learn more the way the economy is run, various jobs available, expenses incurred and so on.   • Dubai Aquarium and Under Water Zoo



  • The 10-million litre Dubai Aquarium tank, located on the Ground Level of The Dubai Mall, is the largest suspended aquarium in the world. The Aquarium tank measures 51 metres in length, 20 metres in depth and 11 metres in height.



    It houses over 33,000 aquatic animals, comprising over 140 species. Over 400 Sharks and Rays live in this tank, including the largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks in the world.
